It seems as if a new technology software product is coming out each month. Will it have some staying power? Is it a product that can make your day to day business life easier? Or is it just a fad that will go away? In litigation support when looking at new software these are a few of the questions that are asked. What if it is more than a product but an idea? For example Automated Coding, when that was first introduced a few years ago questions arose. Can it actually replace manual coding? How accurate is it? Will it stay or be just a fad? Slowly it is starting to find its place in the market and when technology continues to evolve it will find an even bigger audience. Why? Because it is a solution to save money and make litigation support professionals live easier. That is the bottom line with software technology.
Another example is OWR which was created by I-Archives. The idea sounds great, being able to reocgnize text based on word algorithms instead of character ones. Is it something needed in this industry? Yes, because we all know that OCR is not 100% accurate. The condition of the original documents play a major role in the accuracy of OCR. Again, only time will tell if the technology can supplant a flawed service like OCR. If something like OWR can work then Automated Coding accuracy becomes a greater solution. As you can see a new technology can have a great impact on another solution. It is a win win situation for litigation support.
It takes time to learn a software program and this usually comes with training. We are here to offer that litigation support training solution to you. We are here to address any issues or concerns you have with also deciding on a software package. That is a significant financial decision to make for your company. It is all about what works best for your company. That may or may not be the top of the line program. It all comes down to different options and avenues to explore.
We also offer training on numerous litigation support. In the coming months additional certified trainers will be on staff covering even more litigation support programs. A few of the programs are listed below.
